It is finally official that Dostana 2 would begin next year. Though there were a lot of doubts about the fact whether the movie would actually happen or not, it seemed that the film is going to be happening after all. the original team of Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham would be there back again. However, there is going to be a change in the film's heroine, and instead of Priyanka Chopra who was there in the movie in the first part, this time the film would have sexy Katrina Kaif who would be the center of all attraction.

Karan Johar confirmed that the film was on and the script was 'locked' and he added that the 'boys' were back, referring to both John and Abhishek. The duo has been a very entertaining couple, and in Dostana 2 we would have to see whether the story is a new one or the two is continuing from the previous movie and fighting over the girl. If they continue from the previous movie, a lot of tension just might be on that final kiss between John and Abhishek which was such an uproar in the first part.
