Bollywood was abuzz with rumors and stunned as veteran actor and one of Bollywood's celebrated bad boys, Prem Chopra, was sighted as one of the people who was defrauding people of their money. The charge has been brought against him and some of his associates by one Waseem Khan who lives in Ramgarh Road, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Apparently the actor and his associates had lied to this man and taken money from him. The man charged Prem Chopra and his associate Saleem and his wife Radha from Saleem Productions of fraud among the names and claimed that he had given them a sum of 350000 for the commencement of a dance and acting school along with a chance to be recruited in a film in different kinds of roles. However, it seems that the money Waseem Khan had given in good faith was not put to any use whatsoever and though he asked the people to start any kind of work it had not been done.

Waseem also accused Saleem Khan of taking him to Mumbai to see Prem Chopra and on the basis of such other famous names he had met the money had been given by him for the cause.
