It seems that Karan Johar has selected the date for the release of his new film We Are Family keeping some strong ideas in his mind. In the USA this is the Labor Day weekend (1st September) and then the next few days are going to be a series of holiday which means that Indians around the country would have plenty of time to see the film as well. This is the reason why he has selected such a crucial time to release his film which has already released in India to good critical response.

Critics are raving about the chemistry between Kajol and Kareena Kapoor in the film and the story that has been set in Australia would have takers who are passionate about the relationship and the three adorable kids in the film. Arjun Rampal's decent portrayal of the man about the house has also won the film brownie points.

So overall it looks like We Are Family has been released on the 2nd for a very crafty reason. Karan Johar is one man who definitely knows United States and its own quirks, and he has done this deliberately to generate as much publicity as possible. Kudos!
