We were all expecting to watch a movie like Hera Pheri or Bhool Bhulaiyya where Akshay Kumar was incredible as the hero. However, though he is famous for his comedy roles, in this film the actor failed to make us feel the film. Without a doubt the film has fun moments, but they are just that. Moments of fun and nothing very substantial in them.
The film has a background of satire and corruption, and the hero, Sachin Tichkule, played by Akshay is a hapless construction engineer. However, the story moves slow when Sachin moves from one problem to another, from one wrong move to another. The institutes of bribery and corruption seem to stop him from realizing his dreams, which are big and bold. The film has been made by Hari Om Entertainment Co, and Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision, but this time the film fails to make any sense to the audience. Akshay is a great actor and Rajpal Yadav is fun in his own way as usual. Johnny Lever can still make you laugh just by being in one scene. Trisha is stiff and looks totally stiff most of the times, and her character seems unreal.
