When we went to see the film Lafangey Parindey, we had the clear vision of people jumping and dancing to the tunes of fun songs and going ?man lafanga? with a typical bohemian panache. But why did Pradeep Sarkar do this particular feature we may never know, but we would be afraid of going to cinema halls to see a Deepika Padukone film in years to come.

So what she cannot act or dance or do anything worthwhile apart from looking like a million dollars? Deepika Padukone has the hundred thousand odd fan-following who wants to see her smile. And on the base of that famous 'Om Shanti Om' smile, she gets cast in a movie which is so terribly unpleasant that it even makes her bad acting a plus point.

Neil Nitin Mukesh should go jump off a roof now. After all, it has been one bad movie choice after another, including Aa Dekhe Zaraa and Jail. And the overall film script is so horrifying that the writer deserves to be shot. What was Pradeep Sarkar thinking, we might wonder. But in the end, apart from the nice music, everything ends in a pulpy mishmash of bad filmmaking.
