When you see a Govinda film nowadays, you fear the level of stupidity you might be exposed to. And this is what would happen when you go see the movie Loot which has virtually no story, and worse, no one seems to know where the script is heading, including the director. The story begins when Govinda and his group of idiot con men decide to loot a consignment, only they fail to realize that it belongs to a really evil don.
Thus begins a story that was fine in the 1990's but not in the 2010's. There are times when you would want to leave the hall simply because there seems to be no logic to the screenplay. The dialogues come from hell, and there are lines which would make even a child groan out with the silliness of it. There are two arm candies in the name of Hansika Motwani and Sweta Bharadwaj who really are superficial and have slightly more screen space than Rakhi Sawant who appears for the span of 5 minutes (which is more than what we could take). Jaaved Jaffrey and Suniel Shetty seem out of place, and the biggest disappointment is Govinda himself. Go see at your own risk!
