When you go to see a film like Love Express, you hope to see good acting from people like Om Puri who is a veteran actor and has acted in numerous films in commendable roles. However, after seeing this film, we cast aspersions on his sane judgment and selection of film roles because the movie Love Express has got really nothing to recommend it.

This is a story about a marriage between a boy and girl who have really never seen each other but are going through a match which is foisted upon them. Okay, yes the story begins to get dated here, right back to the 1990's when you would remember a similar situation in SRK's Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. However, the two people in this case do not have a Raj or similar someone to run to, so they decide to help each other by being as unsuitable to the other as possible.

Thus begins a dramatic saga of love. But well, the problem is, the film has got everything that would transport you back to the 90's and apart from good acting from the debut couple in question, not much to recommend, unless you like loud jokes.
