When we were looking at the much anticipated film, we were still thinking of his past hits. But Salman Khan proves to us over and over again why he is Salman 'Prem' Khan. The man can pull of the ridiculous roles and scripts that is barely held together by a thread. Add to it some actors who know their stuff and a great music thread and you have got a winner. To tell the truth, the direction of the film is not that great. Sorry, Anees Bazmee, but we must give credit to the star of the show here, who spout the most perfectly suited dialogues, for example, 'Main modern zamaane ka kutta hoon' (I am a Dog of the modern times), or 'Bhole shakal ka kameena' (a devil with an sweet face) which would have you in splits. Asin looks pretty and sometimes slightly on the heavy side, but otherwise, she is pretty perfect in her role. She is a good foil to Salman, though she has little to do but bat her eyelids or talk mean. The plot verges on the ridiculous and weird antics keep on adding up, but the best thing about this film is sound acting from not just Salman but the rest of the crew, and that is the real charm of the film. Another thing which works perfectly is the music. Overall, yes of course the film has got flaws, but Salman makes his magic happen again!
