When we went to the theatres to check out what Maneesh Sharma has done with his second film with Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in the lead once again after the runaway hit Band Baaja Baraat, we did not expect the script to let us down so badly. Unfortunately for us, the film does, and the problem propagates when after every five-ten minutes or so during the movie we are made to watch a song which is mostly not needed.
The first half shows Ranveer, in multiple guises, trying to convince women out of their money. While at times it is endearing, at times the entire thing is slightly irritating as well. Ranveer does his job well, and look out for Parineeta Chopra and there are moments that would make you laugh. Anushka arrives much later, and it isn't till the second half of the film that her role is defined properly. There is good chemistry between the two, but some of the tmes Anushka looks like a plastic doll and slightly pallid. The movie also has got a script which flags a lot, so be prepared to not expect much before you go.
