We know, 'Ain't no mountain high enough?' this is not, but Kajol and Kareena Kapoor decides to stick to their own styles of acting and makes the film We Are Family a good watch. After watching the premier show of the movie, the audience came out crying, and well, the entire Karan Johar mush factor was there through and through. It is the reason why you would want to go see a movie like We Are Family, knowing that Kajol would get really sick and would die in the end of the film.

Similar to the original story Stepmom the film shows off the fight between two women in taking over the supremacy of the house. And here lies the clich?. Yet the two are good as actors, and they carry their roles to a Tee. Kajol's drama is definitely slightly overdone, and Kareena perhaps does not have enough of drama in her role, but the kids in question are absolutely mind-blowing to watch. They are natural, sassy and definitely filled with the youthful enthusiasm that makes them a perfect match to the more mature actors. Arjun Rampal plays up to his role. However, the music is a disappointment overall, though 'Let's Rock' is fun. And the direction needs to be slightly less on the tear-jerker factor.
