There are moments in this film where you would be bewildered and think' 'Hey, isn't this supposed to be funny' But while the 'other' film was hilarious and introduced the adorable Jimmy Mistry to us to fall for, this film is a story which has got sprinkles of funny moment in it, but the sprinkles are far and few in between a story which is indeed truth for many.

The story go in the lines of Om Puri, a first generation British immigrant from Pakistan decides to return to his homeland to find out more about his wife and daughter who he had abandoned in favor of getting a green card to UK. The plot begins to thicken when his wife from UK (Linda Bassett) decides to find him and land up in the same village.

Yes, the story is not very funny, and Ila Arun as the wronged wife stands out beautifully. Another gem of an actor is young Aqib Khan, who plays the role of Om Puri's youngest son, and he delivers an act which is refreshing and brilliant, to say the least. There are moments in this film which would touch you, but would not make you laugh much. So if you want to go see a comedy, well, this isn't it.
