As critics pour over the greatness of Aamir Khan of the golden mind and fantastic spirit to produce a movie like Peepli Live the film is doing great around the world. Roger Moore wanted to see a screening of the film and the film has already won quite a few awards around the globe for its refreshing originality. Anusha Rizvi must be very proud because her film has been a perfect foil for a first director.

Aamir Khan Productions produced the movie Peepli Live and it had a fantastic box office collection from the very first. The business of the film nearly exceeded a sum of Rs 15.5 crore on the opening weekend and till date has come to a sum of Rs 35 Crore around India after the first week or so. The film has been doing great in the North, where the lack of top-notch and famous actors has not made any difference to the film. The box office has remained strangely unaffected by the subsequent film releases, like Lafangey Parindey and the film has done exceptionally well for itself.

Hats off to Aamir Khan and his production house for such a brilliant move in moviemaking.
