When films like Yuvvraj or Veer failed to impress, Salman was quite put out. After all, he is the actor who has always been the crowd puller. However, in this year he has failed to charm us till date. Last year the film Main Aur Mrs Khanna did not do much either.

But all is not lost. For we have seen the promise in Abhinav Kashyap's Dabangg. Already the trailer of the movie has hit the television and the song 'Munni Badnaam' with sexy Malaika Arora Khan has become a huge hit.

And so, Salman is all over the place to promote the film. The public promos, the tours and the endorsements are all for the benefit of the movie which would hit this Eid. And last year, the movie Wanted became a huge hit thanks to Salman's star power and Prabhu Deva's superb direction.

Salman is looking for a hit which would be a milestone for him this year. Apart from the fact that this is his home production, in the three Khans this year, only his movie is yet to become a hit. Aamir and Shah Rukh has already done it with Peepli Live and My Name Is Khan.
