With the release of the much controversial Dam 999 with alleged claims of the Mullaperiyar Dam being the one in question not to mention a conflict once again between Tamil Nadu and Kerala, it looks like the hot topic is going to be used again in a movie. Although there has been talks of making a film out of the issue, and it looks like a group of newbies in Mollywood would be taking advantage of it. Apparently the film is going to be titled Junction, and it would feature quite a few old hands in Mollywood in the lead roles. Al Aman movies would be producing the film and the cast and crew are excited about making sure the film shapes up well.

Thilakan, Bheema Raghu and Suraj Venjaramoodu would be possibly in the film and they are quite excited about the ongoing debate and are extremely keen on making the film a success. New director Deepak Namboodhiri will be helming the film and the movie is supposed to begin shoot soon. The story of the film has been written and the screenplay has been made by Sathyan Kolangad, and it would have Senthil Raj as the cinematographer.
