It says, there is always a first time. And looks like, in the history of Malayalam movies, this is the first time a Tamil movie is being sold for a huge sum which defies description or imagination. The film Endhiran which features Rajinikanth in the lead has successfully done the deed, though.

The film which has succinctly made one successful record after the other will go down the history of Mollywood as one of the films which sold for a sum of Rs 5 Crore, which is an unheard of sum in the film industry of Kerala. The rights have been bought off by GP Vijaykumar with Seven Arts. Already the Telegu rights of the movie has been sold off for a whopping sum of Rs 33 Crores, and it looks like Endhiran is all set to create cinematic history.

The Malayalam rights owners think that the film would easily gross more than the amount that has been scored here. Though there are chances that this film might be a failure like Raavan/Raavanan, there are high chances that thanks to Rajini's star power the film would raise the 200 Crores it has been made with.
