It seems that Martin and Mammootty became friends through one of their journalist meets, and they ended up talking about a new film. The result was this film where Mammootty would be cast as a school teacher intent on becoming a star.

Naushad and Anto Joseph would be producing the movie that Martin is going to make. The film has been titled Best Actor, and it talks about a small town teacher of a school wanting to be the top actor in South Indian films. The film would star Sruthi Ramakrishnan as Mammootty?s lady love, and it would be a hilarious comedy drama that has a lot of fun included in it.

The film also has a supporting cast with Salim Kumar, Lal, Vinayagan, Suraj Vnejaranmoodu and Nedumudi Venu, who would surely bring the house down. The film is scheduled to release in Ramzaan.
