On December 22nd, Dulqar Salman, son of Megastar Mammootty got married to his intended. The ceremony was held in Chennai and it was a private but glitzy affair with a huge number of people from the film fraternity attending it. It seems that Mammootty and his family had arranged for a grand event which would also have a reception on the 26th at Kochi at the Ramada Resorts. The event in Chennai was held in The Park Sheraton, and it was attended by all the bigwigs of South Indian film and political fraternities respectively.

Suresh Gopi, Sarath Kumar with his wife, Dileep and Prabhu were seen attending the event, along with singer KJ Yesudas and Sukumari. The event was a closed affair, kept away from the press, but Mammootty told the media that the official nikah had been held from 7 to 8 pm in the evening, and at present Dulqar was married to his beautiful intended Amall Sulfi. The event was a success and guests were happy with the couple and close relatives of the family told the media that the bride and groom looked great together.
