The new movie from Mohanlal after the release of the much anticipated Cassanovva is going to be a major one for him this year. Like previous year's major movies like Christian Brothers and China Town this time he has decided to associate himself with a big production house. So UTV Motion Pictures has picked him up and selected him to be the next big thing in Mollywood and decided to present him as Grandmaster. The movie is going to be B Unnikrishnan's first movie with UTV and the production house has entered Mollywood with this film.

UTV Motion Pictures told the media that they were quite pleased with the way the film shoot was progressing and they hoped to have Mohanlal's star power attract the audience in a big way. B Unnikrishnan has previously worked with Mohanlal as well as Kavya Madhavan in the film Madambi which became a hit. This time it is going to be Priyamani in the role of the heroine along with Roma as the second female lead. The movie is going to have a complex storyline which would be also containing Jagathy Sreekumar, Sampath and Jaya Menon in it as well.
