What happens when you bring an expired social network site, a bunch of boys and a young girl who is out to find her parents together and add a lot of comments which sound inane and mostly irritating' Why, you get Orkut Oru Ormakkoottu the new film which sounded promising but does not deliver at all. In fact, it falls short of all expectations and make you feel bored within the first half an hour thanks to the dialogues and script which is pretty much predictable. What does not add to the matter is bad acting from the bunch of boys who make their debut. The problem with the film is not just the script which comes to you quite stale but also the so-called actors who look and talk like cardboard dummies. Skits come and go which sound predictable and boring, and after a while you would be stifling a yawn or more just because the film does not really go anywhere, with a climax which can be told beforehand word by word. Rima Kallingal is all right in her role, and the music by Leela Gireeshkuttan is quite nice in parts. Otherwise the film fails to deliver a power packed punch.
