Several layers of narrative though boring can bring in a change in any movie, and the film Vellaripravinte Changathi tries to do that; in the process it makes the narrative quite boring and often slow, and though we see a very vintage aura through the film the end results are not too nice.

Bring in the story of the newly employed man at the Gemini Labs who suddenly comes across a film which was not finished during the 1970's but was pushed back due to several reasons, one being the story of the film which was so called scandalous of a Muslim and Hindu falling in love with each other. Cut to another dimension where during the film shoot the heroine and hero, both newcomers, fall for each other and have a romance. However, the way the film turns out is quite predictable and often melodramatic. Dileep, apart from the times he mimics others, is quite good, while Kavya Madhavan acts her own way as usual.

The music of the movie is nice with a nice mix of the past and blends well with the scene. The director tries his level best to make the story appealing and make the ends meet, which is worth a watch!
