Though she claimed that she would call it a day with Sri Rama Rajyam, the Telugu film which she did with Balakrishna, it seems that Nayan is still here to stay and she would continue doing films. Her relationship with Prabhu Deva on a safe footing, she has decided to do a new film with Nagarjuna in the end to satisfy her fans who want her still.

Recently it was told to the media that after a long bout of persuasion, Nayan decided to do the film, as Nagarjuna and she has had a good friendship for a long time, and the film will be directed by Dasarath who is a great friend of Prabhu Deva, so she will not be out of her comfort zone for this movie. She decided to do the film to appease her fans as well, who were inconsolable when it was revealed that Sri Rama Rajyam could very well be her last film. Dasarath has previously made Mr. Perfect, so it would be great for Nayanthara to do a film. However, she made no claims whether she would be doing any future projects later this year, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu or otherwise.
