Both Priyadarshan and Mohanlal are busy. Priyadarshan, who began his career in Malayalam movies, but switched to Hindi later on, has recently been busy with his new film starring Akshay Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, called Khatta Meetha which is on its way to be released soon.

On the other hand, Mohanlal is counting days when his film with Sameera Reddy would be releasing. The new movie also features other prominent actors, and it has been recently postponed release, thanks to the Kerala Release Bandh which began this weekend. He is hopeful about the movie, though, and his next release includes the huge budget Christian Brothers which has already got a lot of controversy attached to it.

But the duo would be seen again, working together in a new movie. This film would again be a signature Priyadarshan movie, with a lot of action and comedy to it. There is a definite note of happiness and pathos together, which is what the script is all about, and something in which Priyadarshan specializes. The film would begin its first schedule of shoot possibly early next year, when both the star and the director would finally be able to give some time to it.
