The young daring actor Srijeeth agreed to work with Shwetha Menon to do a film like Rathinirvedam, where the relationship between a young man and an older woman was shown and it provided a more logical look to a tabooed issue that is still considered to be a major problem of the Indian society.

However, this film opened the gates for Srijeeth who has received his next major role offer. He has got quite a few other offers from different South Indian industries as well but his first priority is probably going to be Chekkanum Pennum which would be a movie where he would be featured along side a brand new cast. Debutant Deepti would be accompanying him in the film which would be made by Pradeep Nair. Midhun and Aparna Nair would also be playing major roles in the film. The theme of the story would be a modern day romance with a young couple in love. Pradeep Nair has written the script of the film in association with Rajesh Varma. The film would have music by Arun Sidharth who is quite talented. The movie would be made under the Film Buff production banner.
