Oh dear, is the famous Naaduvazhikal getting remade? Well, it looks like Mohanlal would be replaced as the fiery Arjun and in his place someone else would be taking over. And the film is going to be remade by Shaji Kailash.

The film would be remade by Prithviraj who plays Arjun in the movie. Recently the film has been launched. The official pooja of the movie was held at the beautiful Mascot Hotel in the city of Thiruvananthapuram. The film pooja was attended by several celebrities.

The writer of the original script, SN Swamy, told the media recently, that the role that was played by Mohanlal can be best played by Prithviraj from among the current young crowd of Mollywood. He also added that the appeal for the film was Mohanlal, who fought, cracked jokes, said memorable dialogues and continued a drama which was both intense and involving. This is the reason when the film hit the market it did so well. The simplicity of the film's story is yet another reason for the film to be a hit.
