This next week is going to be a very lowbrow one for Mollywood it seems. The films that are releasing at this point are somewhat not meeting the multi-starrer glamour that is generally associated with big budget movies. Several small films are however getting launched, which might be worth watching out for.

The new film by Vinayan, which is called Yakshiyum Njanum would be released soon, which has debutant Gowtham in the lead, with Shyam, Meghna Nair and Rajan P playing several important characters, and Jubin Raj is the new villain of the movie. The film would also have music from debutant Sajan Madhav, who is the son of the late Raveendran Master. The sweet music of the movie is one of its highlights.

Rajiv Anchal has come up with his Paatinte Palazhi which features Meera Jasmine in the lead, playing the role of a singer, with Revathy and Nedumudi Venu play important roles too. The film has great music from debutant music director Suresh Manimala.

Also, the film Athmakadha from Sreenivasan is launching on the same date. The film is a different one, with Sreenivasan and Sharbani Mukherjee in the main roles, and it has been directed by Premlal.
