Well, on one hand we see the film almost at the finishing line, and yet the film is still not finding a good title to it. The new Siddique movie has been named and renamed over and over again, and what was once Kaval Karan changed to Kaaval Kaadhal and later into Kaavalan which is possibly the third and final name change. The film stars Asin and Vijay in the lead roles.

It looks like the change of name for the second time was due to the audience, who were not very happy with the new name and wanted it to be something different. So the name Kaavalan was finally chosen.

And the director of the film Shakthi Chidambaram has bought off the film rights completely, along with the negative rights of the movie. Because at this point a lot of trouble is brewing around the movie, quite a few people are wondering what the reason is behind this film to become the target of Shakthi. Thanks to the trouble Asin has brewed up in her Tamil fans the film has got a lot of negative publicity overnight. Maybe Chidambaram wants to cash in on it.
