A dream team is being built up for the new movie Kochadaiyaan, with a super impressive star cast which is sure to knock the audience out with its brilliance. Now virtually half the popular names of the South Indian film industry along with some Bollywood names too are joining the star cast and the list of crews. Recently Rajinikanth visited AR Rahman's concert on 26th January, Republic Day, and it was seen that AR Rahman went up and talked to Rajini and his daughter who were present. It seems that the music director has joined the Kochadaiyaan team as well.

The star cast is getting impressive by the day. Till date apart from Rajini, the list includes names like Prithviraj, Sarath Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Manchu Laxmi, Aadhi, Sneha, Shobhana, Nassar which is a very impressive list, and the list is still expanding. KS Ravikumar has written the movie while it would be directed by Saundarya Rajinikanth Aswin and produced by Sunil Lulla. The rumors go that the movie is a period drama which speaks of the Pandya dynasty, one of the three major South Indian empires of the early days, the other two being the Cholas and the Cheras.
