A movie which has an extremely fast paced first half, but a rather predictable second half filled with unnecessary and slightly irritating action sequence, Poraali yet manages to pull the audience to its charms. The film begins when Sasikumar and Allari Naresh escapes an asylum for the mentally unstable, and reaches a city where they slowly start up their own venture which becomes successful thanks to their honesty and ability to work for their goals. The first half of the movie is a breeze of romance, suspense and comedy, where your funny bone would be tickled often enough. However once the second half begins you would feel a definite problem because the tone of the movie changes quite drastically all of a sudden. Samuthirakani tries to show how madness is latent in every individual, and it needs only a bit of prodding to get it out. In the second half, this is the theme in a strictly heavy handed manner which can get on your nerves. Though the acting from Sasikumar, Swathi, Allari Naresh are good in their roles, and Nivetha really catches attention with her charming acting abilities, so the movie is definitely a nice watch.
