The best thing about a new director is that he has something new and fresh to offer to the masses. This is promised by Sankar Dayal who is making the film Saguni. The film has got Karthi in the lead role, and it is going to be a fun entertainer with a lot of action in it. In the new film Pranitha, the Kannada actress is going to be present. Also featuring are Mumtaz and Radhika. The film is also going to have great music composed by GV Prakash.

Recently a scene was canned where there was a dialogue exchange between actor Santhanam and Karthi. The scene was a funny one, with Karthi named Kamal and Santhanam named Rajini. Apparently the funny exchange of dialogues really tore the entire unit up laughing who could barely contain their mirth through the canning procedure. The film audience also adored the film and was laughing their hearts out.

Saguni is going to be releasing after the shoot is completed. Karthi and Santhanam were seen previously together in the film Siruthai where they had a strong chemistry which was fun to note and they are hoping to make a second run out of it in this one.
