The new film Rowthiram has got Shriya Saran acting in it in the role of the female lead. The film also features Jiiva in the lead. The two has begun shoot at Chennai recently and the film would be made by the home banner of Jiiva, which is Supergood Films. The producers have declared that this movie would be an out and out action movie with high drama and loads of comedy. The director of the film is Gokul, who used to be an assistant of Surya Kiran, the famous Telegu director. The film?s music has been scored by first-time composer Prakash Nikki.

Shriya has finally got back to Tamil filmmaking, it seems. She is currently waiting for the movie Chikku Bhukku to be released, which is her next movie. in Chikku Bhukku, she is cast against the new golden boy of Tamil cinema, Arya. The film is a romantic travel journey that begins in London.
