The filmmaker Venkat Prabhu confirmed that there would be three heroines playing against Suriya in his new movie. Venkat Prabhu recently made the Ajith starrer Mankatha which was a major hit of the year. This time he has decided to work his charm with Suriya and the new film is going to be a special collaboration between the two. Already the script is at work and the film has been declared with the basic pre-production already in the process.

Venkat Prabhu revealed that the three heroines would be possibly chosen from among new faces, as he did not want to repeat the same old names over and over again. However, he also said that the film would have Suriya playing a totally different role in the lead and as soon as the script is finalized the film would begin shooting under the banner of Studio Green.
