Fans of Arya and Madhavan are jumping with joy as Vettai has got the (U) certificate from the censor board who apparently thought that the film had been very well made. This means that during Pongal Vettai would be a serious contender of Nanban and it would be detrimentally opposite to the remake of 3 Idiots, as in the first film the element of predictability would be there while this is a thrilling and entertaining story which is gripping and extremely riveting to the audience.

The film has already got a huge number of listing in the USA and India and in USA it has been listed in a huge number of halls, and from Georgia to Delaware and New York the film is going to be shown in halls where the listings have been already made and published. The producers and director of Vettai is excited about the movie, as are the actors. Recently Madhavan commented on the fact that he would be missing the cast and crew of the film and he also said that he was not sad at all to not be a part of Nanban, in fact he welcomed it to a certain extent.
