Well, though his box office repute is not at the best surely, but this might just be the year where Ilayathalapathy Vijay might end up churning out the maximum number of movies. The man, who has already done Vettaikaran and Sura recently, is ready with his next movie Kaaval Kaadhal and then Velayudham. In Kaaval Kaadhal, he is cast against Asin, and in Velayudham against Genelia. Also Vijay has two more films in the pipeline this year. Out of which one looks dicey, because he promised to do the movie with Seeman.

Seeman has been held up in a jail recently for his political speeches. However, Vijay has another movie coming up with Lingusamy, where he has replaced Silambarasan in the lead. That is indeed big news for him. To top it all, he has also been rumored working for 3 Idiots remake with Shankar where he would be playing the same role Aamir Khan did in the original film. That film would begin shooting from the month of October.

Also, Vikram K Kumar has been sniffing around, and talking to Vijay about a new script which Vijay has approved of, and so Vijay would be perhaps doing another movie.
