Vijay for Vikram!

It looks like Vikram Kumar is the man to snap up the offer of directing the Ilayathalapathy Vijay. Writer and director Vikram Kumar has found a special story that would be fitting Vijay's role perfectly, and he narrated the story in a line to the actor who jumped at the chance. Vikram later said that Vijay was totally taken by the film and he asked the director to work on the script to make it a bigger and better story, and at this point the final script is being selected for the movie.

Apparently, Vijay was so impressed by the movie story that he talked to the producer AM Ratnam who is a veteran producer, much revered in Kollywood, though he has fallen into slightly tough times. Currently Vikram is putting in final touches to the script at Saligramam where he is working out the kinks of the script. Vijay has been working steadily in movies like Velayudham and Kaavalan, and he would be finishing off his assignments before he moves on to this project, which would be well into the next year. This is one movie the Kollywood audience would not want to miss out on.
