Amala Paul has been working quite hard in the recent past and it has not gone unnoticed. She was cast opposite Arya in Vettai, a role which she did quite well, and she was selected for the new Telugu movie with Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh coming together for the first time. The incident actually raised quite a lot of expectations as Venky has never worked with Mahesh Babu before and there is a lot of speculation about how the film would work out. Mahesh Babu's heroine has already been selected as Samantha and Amala was chosen as Venky's heroine.

However, Amala has decided not to work in the film that has been named 'Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' or SVSC. Though she signed the contract as soon as the offer was sent to her and did a few photo shoots for the film as well, it seems that she is no longer part of the project. Now it seems that Dil Raju is looking for another actress quickly, and is currently talking to quite a few heroines, including Anjali who worked in the film Journey. Apparently there is a difficulty finding a heroine for Venkatesh for this project.
