Mahesh Babu's fans might be feeling slightly disappointed as his new movie The Businessman is going to be released on the 13th of January instead of the 11th as it was scheduled earlier. This has essentially been a minor change in the schedule thanks to the post production work problem. The producer of the film R Venkat was extremely sorry about the delay but he could not do anything to stop the problem or overcome it and so like all the other movies, The Businessman would be released on the 13th of January 2012 instead of the 11th.

The movie was produced by R Venkat with Puri Jagannath directing it. Mahesh Babu claimed that this movie was going to be a revelation and it would bring together the4 explosive combination of Puri and Mahesh Babu together. The film is also going to be released in Tamil as well as in Malayalam and it would be released with sub titles in the USA to attract non Telugu speaking audience into the movie as well. This is Puri's new strategy to popularize Telugu films in the global context and it has followed on the wake of Mahesh Babu's tremendous success with the film Dookudu.
