There has been problem between them in the past, and it might be happening in the future too. Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi might come to blows soon enough, and it would not be too pretty. Recently Balakrishna made some cutting comments about Chirajneevi and said that certain political parties that also aided social issues had trouble in focusing on their real goal and were not fully committed to their purpose.

However, to this Chiranjeevi retorted very politely and quite gamely, with a simple comment as the superstar Balakrishna being his good friend, but also a 'bala' or little boy. He also told the media that he listened to the 'bala' but it did not necessarily mean he would have to take his advice. At present Chiranjeevi is trying to make more inroads into politics, and Balakrishna is not far behind by making strong political commitments and making his daughter Brahmani marry Lokesh, the son of Chandrababu Naidu, and getting into the political groove in a stronger manner. It would seem the two houses are getting prepared for some serious battles for control.
