Puri Jagannath has made many humans into heroes, and it looks like Gopichand is no exception. He is absolutely over the moon with his role in the film Golimaar where he plays the role of an encounter specialist. Though the film has received different criticism, some positive, some negative, but he has no concern about it currently.

Gopichand is still riding a high on the Puri Jagan experience. He said that he thought Puri Jagan was a man who made films and treated filmmaking as a matter of life and death itself. This made it possible for the filmmaker to not consider failure or success of any movie but what the film had to offer. The film had to live up to what was originally planned for it, and it would be presented to the reality as the director wishes it to be.

Gopichand also mentioned that the production would not be good if the storyline did not live up to it, and a film without substance does not stand a chance in front of the audience who looks for a plot in a film. He was also extremely glad he had got a chance to do a film with Puri Jagan.
