Manchu Manoj and Manchu Laxmi, or Laxmi Prasanna as she is also known, is an actor to be reckoned with in the Telugu film industry. Recently Manchu Laxmi got the news that she had been selected to work with Mani Ratnam in a movie. Generally a lot of people merely dream about working in a Mani Ratnam movie, and getting such a grand offer made her happy enough to tweet to her followers about her super success.

In the Mani Ratnam movie, Gautham, son of Karthik the actor, would be launched, and the movie has been named at present.
