Though his venture into Hindi movies did not go too well, still Daggubati Rana is trying his level best to make it into Tollywood and after his film Leader it looks like he is here to stay. The new film that has been launched with him in the lead is called Krishnam Vande Jagadguru, however, he is going to be playing the role of the hero, and in the movie he is going to be accompanied by Brahmanandam and Posali Krishna Murali. The movie is going to be directed by the famed Krish, whose previous movie Vedam was a smash hit and also hailed by critics as one of the best films of the year.

Rana is extremely excited that he has been selected as part of the cast and he said that he was happy to work with such a talented director who had given us memorable films. The banner under which the film would be produced is First Frame Entertainment banner. The launch of the film happened in the Rama Naidu Studios at Hyderabad where fans crowded to see the hero who had come down to launch the movie. Rana said that he had a good feeling about the film.
