Though when Naga Chaitanya first appeared in the film Josh, he got average reviews, though a lot of critical acclaim. However, with the Gautham Menon film Ye Maaya Chesave, where he played the role of the agonized director, he won his first recognition to the film world. This was quickly followed by the producers taking notice and signing him up for the film. Naga decided to take up other films like Perfect Lover which are currently going under post-production stage.
