A cousin of the Deol brothers, Abhay is the quiet and yet elegant Deol who has done a lot of really intense and controversial movies while not losing his appeal to the masses. His first film Socha Na Tha was a beautiful take on love and he followed it with the hard-hitting Dev D where he performed as a degenerate postmodern Devdas, who soon forgot his Paaro. His next movie was quite surreal, called Road, where he portrayed a lost character, and his recent movie Aisha brought him more audience.
