Surya or Suriya is one of the most well-known actors of Tamil films and has acted in noted films including Kaakha Kaakha, Ghajini, Ayan, Vel, Singam and Vaaranam Aayiram. He is the oldest son of famous actor Sivakumar and the brother of actor Karthi. He made his first Hindi movie with Ram Gopal Varma, which was Rakht Charitra II where he played the role of Suri. Currently Surya is doing the film 7aam Arivu with Shruthi Haasan which is directed by AR Murugadoss.
